Electrical Commissioning Lead - Data Centers

Job Summary
Lead multiple data-center electrical commissioning projects as a Commissioning Lead SME, guiding commissioning engineers and project managers, ensuring adherence to commissioning standards, QC processes, and thorough documentation. Develop SOPs/MOPs, prepare commissioning plans, review design criteria and submittals, perform integrated system testing (including fire alarm, HVAC, Chillers, CRACs, UPS, generators, emergency lighting), and generate reports with recommendations to optimize building operations. Interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and owners' agents; manage technical aspects of projects with potential transition to people management within 6-18 months; travel up to 50% (closer to 10-20% if based near a major Data Center). Must possess strong written/verbal communication skills and experience with commissioning standards, testing procedures, and field troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications
- 5 to 10+ years experience in the Electrical / Mechanical Commissioning Field
- Bachelor's / Associates Degree as an Electrical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer a plus
- Experience with Level 1-5 commissioning
- Experience managing commissioning teams and developing plans for large scale commissioning projects
- Experience with IEEE / ASHRAE procedures and protocols a plus
- Open to 50% Travel
- Must live near a major airport
- Previous Data Center / Mission Critical experience a must
