Job Summary
Calibrate a variety of test instruments across electrical, industrial, and temperature equipment, collect calibration data, complete calibration certifications including out-of-tolerance conditions, and maintain company standards. Participate in ongoing training, share best practices with team members, adhere to safety and quality standards, and communicate procedures and issues with customers and coworkers by phone, in person, and email. Role involves work performed in a local laboratory and at customer facilities, with up to 25% overnight travel.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Basic Knowledge of Mechanical and Dimensional equipment preferred
- Experience in basic instrumentation and manual tools preferred
- Basic mathematics understanding
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in MS Word and Excel
- Ability to work both independently and under the supervision of Senior Technicians
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
- Training: We accept applicants new to the calibration industry who are eager to learn
- Work Environment: Up to 25% out of town, overnight travel
