Job Summary
Electrical Cabin and Network System Design Engineer responsible for developing and documenting moderately complex electronic/electrical system requirements, designing hardware/software/interface specifications, and validating system designs for Boeing's integrated cabin and cargo systems in Everett or Renton, WA. Role involves collaboration with global suppliers, lab and in-flight testing, and oversight of supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance. Requires a Bachelor of Science in engineering and experience in electrical/electronic design, with 3+ years preferred. Onsite at Everett or Renton; relocation available based on eligibility; U.S. export control compliance and COI assessments apply. Salary ranges provided for Associate and Experienced levels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry
- Experience working in an electrical design engineering environment (with emphasis on electronic and electrical systems design and analysis)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with Flight Management Systems
- Pilot’s license and/or experience working in the flight deck
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
- Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates must satisfy COI assessment
