Job Summary
Electrical Building Services Engineer responsible for assurance and design of electrical elements across infrastructure projects including airfield developments, utilities, and building services. Role involves technical leadership, design assurance, compliance with codes and ICAO/EASA standards, coordination across delivery programmes, involvement in lifecycle stages from concept to handover, prep of tender docs, and mentorship of engineering personnel. Hybrid work pattern with three days on site and two days remote from Dublin, Ireland. Requires 10+ years in aviation/infrastructure projects, design lead experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering software, and strong regulatory compliance knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience delivering aviation infrastructure projects and other complex engineering projects of a similar scale and complexity
- Demonstrated experience acting as a Design Lead on multi-million-euro projects, including providing technical assurance through the review and approval of designs, drawings, and engineering deliverables
- Strong understanding of safety requirements, operational constraints, and regulatory processes associated with the design and construction of airside infrastructure
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite for design coordination, documentation, reporting, and project management
- Proficiency in discipline-specific engineering software relevant to the design, analysis, and delivery of building services and infrastructure projects
