Job Summary
The Electrical Technician will install, maintain, repair, calibrate, and improve production equipment and plant facilities. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical issues, operating testing equipment, maintaining electrical systems, and enhancing production efficiency. Requires an Associates degree or equivalent, 2+ years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to read electrical drawings. The role emphasizes safety compliance, effective communication, and the ability to work well within a team.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Electrician in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Ability to maintain demeanor and performance through any situation
- Ability to function both independently and as part of a team; must be flexible and excited to grow with the organization
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy and organization
Desired Qualifications
- Engineering or Technical Degree preferred
- Experience with >1KV industrial facilities required
- Experience and technical training in maintenance of Electrical Equipment
- Ability to read technical drawings - mainly electrical drawings
- Strong critical-thinking skills with a solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Additional Requirements
- Must comply with all Health & Safety regulations, rules, procedures and policies
- Able to use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
