Job Summary
Hands-on Electrical Associate on a production team responsible for wiring internal unit components, routing and installing wiring between unit-mounted components, terminating wires to control panels and terminal blocks per schematics, reading ladder logic diagrams and electrical schematics, verifying wire and breaker sizing per NEC/UL standards, using multi-meters and hand tools for troubleshooting and testing, mounting electrical hardware and sensors per design specs, optimizing internal layout for safety, performance, and serviceability, collaborating with engineering to improve wiring methods and manufacturability, supporting process-improvement initiatives to reduce rework, ensuring units are electrically complete and ready for Quality Control, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment; strong emphasis on detailed electrical assembly, adherence to standards, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in electrical assembly or manufacturing
- Strong familiarity with internal unit wiring and electrical systems
- Ability to read and apply electrical schematics and ladder diagrams
- Proficient in using hand tools and multi-meters
- Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Strong communicator and team player with a proactive mindset
- Able to lift components and work within large equipment units
