Job Summary
Fabricate, assemble, repair, modify, test, and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules, components, and wire harnesses per engineering drawings and manufacturer instructions. Mark wires, assemble lays-up, and terminate connections by crimping and soldering to schematic specifications. Perform electrical continuity checks, operational tests, and acceptance test procedures on harnesses and wired components. Record work progress, certifications, and completion on production documents while maintaining shop cleanliness. Requires one to two years of related Aircraft Electronics/Avionics experience, formal soldering training, and an FAA repairman certificate. Preferred FCC license. Regular scheduled attendance required with no supervisory duties.
