Job Summary
Lead electrical assembly operations and prepare workstations for daily tasks while ensuring projects meet safety, quality, and delivery goals. Update daily tier meetings with associates, verify adherence to standards through quality inspections, and troubleshoot practical electrical and mechanical problems on the line. Drive consistent compliance with site ISO standards, EHS procedures, and Lean manufacturing processes as per Regal Business Systems. Collaborate with the extended team on investigations related to safety and quality issues. Requires 5+ years in electrical panel/switchgear assembly, proficiency in reading schematics, and ability to lift 30 pounds. Schedule includes Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday shifts from 5:45 AM to 4:15 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of directly related manufacturing experience in electrical panel/switchgear assembly
- Experience leading a crew of assemblers/technicians: assigning work, giving instructions, coaching, and providing performance feedback
- Strong knowledge in low/medium voltage switchgear assembly, wiring, and testing including reading complex electric schematics and work instructions
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve practical electrical and mechanical problems on the line with limited standardization or precedent
- Must successfully complete employer-provided training during the first 6 weeks of onboarding
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to lift 30 pounds
- Ability to accurately prepare and enter data into spreadsheets
- Ability to work overtime when required
