Job Summary
Follow electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly instruction sheets to build wire panels and assemble components using hand and power tools. Plan and layout assembly sequences, perform inspections of subassemblies during building and complete final checks prior to commissioning. Report electrical or design errors to the supervisor and maintain safe working environments by adhering to lock-out and start-up procedures. Operate throughout the plant and shop floor, climbing and lifting as needed, while working overtime shifts when required.
Required Qualifications
- Technical Degree and/or Demonstrate related equivalent experience in machine assembly
- Highly motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Detail oriented
- Good computer skills and knowledge of technology
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to operate in all areas of the plant
- Must be able to operate in shop floor environment
- Must be able to operate around machinery
- Must be able to climb
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to light lift
- Must be able to work overtime shifts
