Job Summary
Electrical Assembler on 2nd shift responsible for assembling electrical components and wiring equipment, interpreting assembly drawings and sketches, and using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing and crimping tools. Maintains good housekeeping, logs daily work as production travelers, and works in a team or solo environment. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; 1 year experience preferred; ability to read drawings and interpret specifications; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm) in Windsor, CT. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year experience preferred
- Experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from drawings and sketches
- Ability to use tools including screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, crimping tools
- Ability to move safely over uneven terrain and in restricted spaces
- Ability to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods
- Ability to work in areas with limited space
- Familiarity with tablets and computers
- Ability to work in a team or solo environment
