Job Summary
Electrical Assembler role focusing on reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to assemble, install, and modify electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Performs testing (functional, continuity, startup) on completed assemblies, troubleshoots and repairs as needed, and ensures adherence to NOV safety policies. Works with hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a warehouse/manufacturing environment; may require working with heavy equipment and forklifts, and following fall protection protocols. Maintains organized work area and supports production schedules.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Minimum of three (3) years of assembly and/or mechanical experience required
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment
- Ability to learn new processes and apply knowledge on the job
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Ability to work with heavy equipment and industrial machinery
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds
- Ability to work around heavy equipment and moving machinery
- Ability to work at heights and wear fall protection equipment when working above 4 feet
