Job Summary
Wire and configure electrical control panels per job order, producing quality products in a timely fashion as instructed from shop order packets, drawings, and verbal instructions. Perform testing of completed panels, troubleshoot malfunctions, and take corrective actions while properly documenting work and job time. Notify supervisors of any material, tool, or equipment malfunctions, missing parts, or unsafe conditions immediately. This role is pivotal in supporting production efforts for Modula's vertical lift modules and automated storage systems. Candidates must possess at least two years of electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, and proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of electrical experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum education of a high school diploma or its equivalent
- Vocational (or higher) education in electrical or a related field
- Journeyman license
- Understanding of the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in reading blue prints
- Working knowledge of programmable controllers and wiring control panels, motors, transformers, and relays
- Experience and proficiency in reading and working from bills of materials, layouts, sketches, and schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience making up wire harnesses, communication cables, power distribution cables, and then splicing pieces as required
- Thorough knowledge of electrical theory and principles
- Knowledge of statutory codes
