Job Summary
Electrical Assembler I at Custom Air Products & Services builds basic-to-intermediate electrical assemblies for custom HVAC units, including wiring, component installation, insulation prep, crimping, and basic testing under supervision. Responsibilities include interpreting work orders and wiring diagrams, gathering materials, routing and terminating wiring, assembling control panels and accessories, performing basic inspections and continuity checks, maintaining a clean work area, and documenting production activity. Requires 1–3 years in electrical assembly or HVAC manufacturing (preferred), ability to read wiring diagrams/blueprints, familiarity with hand tools, attention to detail, teamwork, and a high school diploma or GED. On-site manufacturing role based in Houston, TX with standard safety PPE and production targets.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical assembly, HVAC manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and blueprints
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic electrical assembly equipment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Physical requirements: stand, bend, lift 25–40 pounds, PPE use
