Job Summary
Electrical Assembler in Muncie, IN responsible for installing large components and sub-assemblies into electrical compartments, routing and terminating cables, and mechanical assembly per blueprints, schematics, and engineering change notices. Responsibilities include wiring and cabling, assisting in correcting non-conformities found by Quality, following process and quality gate sheets, verifying gauge calibration, and applying proper torque values per engineering standards. Advanced duties include installing wire harnesses, constructing plug assemblies, terminating wires to components, and training others. Requires reading blueprints/schematics, operating tools, and working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heavy industrial equipment, trains/locomotives, and safety protocols. Shift options include 2nd shift ($20/hour with differential) and 3rd shift ($21/hour with differential); full-time with PTO, holidays, and health benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year manufacturing experience, preferably heavy industrial
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience with blueprints and wiring/wire schematics (Preferred)
