Job Summary
Assemble electrical enclosures, control panels, and related assemblies by interpreting schematics, routing wiring, and installing components such as breakers and contactors. Perform self-inspections and quality checks, troubleshoot assembly issues, and assist in training lower-level assemblers. Maintain a clean workspace using 5S practices while adhering to all safety procedures. This role requires at least 24 months as an Assembler II, a minimum 85% performance rating, and passing the Assembler III exam. Located at ESL Power Systems, the team values ownership, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing or a similar environment
- At least 2 years of experience with electrical wiring, crimping, and electrical assembly
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, work tickets, and layout drawings
- Knowledge of electrical components used in control panels and enclosures
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Minimum 24 months as an Assembler II
- Maintain a minimum performance rating of 85%
- Must pass Assembler III exam
- Consistent attendance and reliability
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work with ladders up to 12 feet
- Must be able to wear common protective or safety equipment such as safety shoes and safety glasses
