Job Summary
As an Electrical Assembler II at Bartelt Packaging, a ProMach Company, you will be responsible for assembling components in control panels/cabinets and installing electrical wiring for machines. Key responsibilities include reading electrical blueprints, laying out diagrams for electrical installations, examining parts for defects, routing wiring cleanly, drilling and tapping holes for mounting control units, attaching electrical components, and performing machine wiring. The role requires 5+ years of related experience and the ability to read engineering drawings, alongside essential math and reading skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Technical certificate from a trade school
- 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to research and read engineering drawings using a drawing database program
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using two-digit numbers, tens, and hundreds; apply calculations to money, weight, volume, and distance
- Strong reading comprehension for instructions, correspondence, and memos
- Dependable, reliable, and committed to teamwork
