Job Summary
Electrical Assembler on 1st shift at Whitewater, WI, assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels and cable assemblies to meet drawings, specifications, and schedules. Diagnose, repair, and rebuild electronic products and components; mount chassis, panels, parts, and subassemblies with precision; inspect and test circuits to verify functionality; follow lean manufacturing and ISO 9001 quality standards in a structured production environment; collaborate with teammates to support reliable equipment and long-term success for Coperion/Hillenbrand. Requires an associate degree in electronics or equivalent hands-on experience (2–4 years), ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics, familiarity with measurement equipment, and strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- An associate degree in electronics, electronic technology, or equivalent hands-on experience
- Typically 2–4 years in electronic assembly or wiring
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints and schematics
- Working knowledge of common electrical measurement devices and test equipment
- Ability to assemble, wire, and inspect panels and cable assemblies with consistency and attention to detail
- Basic computer skills for documentation, instructions, and production systems
