Job Summary
Electrical Assembler on Afternoon Shift responsible for assembling, wiring, and installing electrical components in custom data center units. Duties include preparing and laying out electrical equipment, installing/replacing/testing circuits and equipment (controls, panel boxes, switches), splicing and connecting wires, installing PDUs and network switches, running and terminating Cat 5 and power cables, connecting cabling to miners and data equipment, diagnosing issues, and resolving electrical or cabling problems. Requires strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, reading blueprints, and the ability to troubleshoot to ensure safe, reliable installations; overtime may be required. Position works Monday-Thursday 4pm-1:30am and Friday 4pm-12:30am with a 44-hour work week in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- college or trade school diploma preferred
- strong electrical knowledge
- ability to read blueprints
- experience with data center or electrical assembly environments preferred
- HVAC experience is an asset
- over-time flexibility
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
