Electrical Architect - Weapon System Equipment

Electrical Architect role to develop and define the electrical architecture and requirements for Weapon System Equipment across Land and Maritime domains. Responsible for initial electrical architecture design, maintaining definitions through lifecycle, producing technical and certification documentation (including safety-related certification and UKCA/CE declarations), and supporting functional hardware integration within the wider subsystem. Engage with stakeholders to shape product development within budget and schedule constraints, and provide certification and sign-off expertise for electrical architecture across internal and external projects. Strong focus on delivering compliant, safe, and reliable electrical systems for space-constrained, harsh environments, with experience in low and extra-low voltage systems, grounding/earthing, and power distribution. The position requires a combination of design, analysis, testing, and leadership within a multidisciplinary team, with hybrid on-site work 2–3 days per week in the UK. Good communication and collaboration skills to interface with customers and delivery teams are essential.
