Job Summary
Electrical Apprentices perform physical installs on well pads, pulling cable tray, laying wire, and digging trenches. They install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment, wire and fabricate electrical and control panels, ensure compliance with relevant codes, and work with solar powered systems. The role requires diagnosing malfunctioning systems using test equipment, reading drawings, planning layouts, pulling wires, mounting equipment, and digging trenches as needed. Training is provided, with hands-on equipment training and personal development plans. Location is Greeley, CO, on-site responsibilities with opportunities for growth in Eagle Automation’s oil and gas automation and measurement services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma + minimum of one year electrical experience
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred
- Ability to read and understand drawings
- Experience with solar powered systems
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, using test equipment
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring
- Pull wire, mount equipment and dig trenches as needed
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring and equipment
