Job Summary
Electrical Apprentice carries out tasks in support of the Electrical and Instrumentation program under instruction of a qualified Electrician. Key responsibilities include leading with safety, delivering and maintaining assets, performing planned and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, undertaking wastewater, water construction and maintenance tasks, participating in hazard identification and incident notifications, attending team and toolbox meetings, leading or assisting in completing jobs via the mobile field computing system, and installation/augmentation of major assets and plant while ensuring compliance with processes and procedures to maintain a safe workplace.
Required Qualifications
- Current Driver’s License
- Ability to integrate with and cooperate as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work with external personnel including sub-contractors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Intermediate computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
