Job Summary
Assist skilled electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings while ensuring compliance with regulations. Support material handling, site preparation, and cleanup by loading/unloading equipment, transporting supplies, and clearing debris. Dig trenches for conduits, set up scaffolding, and maintain tools and work areas under supervision. Work extended shifts in all seasons, including extreme conditions, while lifting up to 50 lbs and climbing stairs. Obtain journeyman certification within 12 months. Prairie Band, LLC prefers Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation applicants for this Tier 1 position.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship
- Must be willing to work extended and varied shifts as required
- Must have the minimum required tool set acquired within 90 days of employment
- Must be willing and able to work in all seasons and conditions throughout the year and may be exposed to extreme conditions (hot or cold)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to climb stairs, bend, kneel frequently and stand for long periods
- Must be able to work in confined spaces, work with heights
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment tests (background & drug screen)
- Must possess and be able to demonstrate attention to safety
- Must have good time management skills
- Must be willing to obtain journeyman certification within 12 mo. following the completion of ap
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and have strong communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation

- Past experience in electrical field extremely desired
