Job Summary
Electrical Apprentice works under journeyman electricians to install, modify, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical fixtures and systems in accordance with building codes. The role includes reading blueprints, completing quality control sheets, managing multiple projects, and attending an in-house apprenticeship school one night per week until earning a journeyman license. The position emphasizes learning from supervisors and performing tasks across all phases of electrical work, with emphasis on safety and physical endurance for demanding field conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work 6 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday and an occasional Saturday
- Strong work ethic
- Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team
- Excellent communication skills
- Mobility and agility to perform physically demanding tasks
