Job Summary
Assist licensed electricians with commercial electrical installations, service work, and troubleshooting. Install conduit, pull wire, and mount cable supports while helping set up electrical panels, breakers, switches, and lighting systems. Read blueprints, interpret wiring diagrams, and use hand and power tools safely. Load, unload, and organize materials while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned while developing electrical knowledge and skills. Work year-round on stable commercial projects with a supportive team focused on safety and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Ability to pass background check
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to work from lifts
- Ability to work at heights
- Ability to bend
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to squat
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Previous construction or mechanical experience
- Enrollment in or willingness to participate in an electrical apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn from experienced electricians
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- OSHA 10 certification
- Previous experience in commercial construction
- Basic understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience using basic electrical tools and measuring devices
