Electrical and Mechanical Technician I

Job Summary
Conduct routine preventive maintenance, assist with mechanical assembly and wiring, and execute troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic HVAC systems. Set sensors, support calibrations and testing, and maintain documentation while ensuring a safe workplace by promoting environmental, health, and safety standards. Report and contribute to resolving safety and security near miss reports. Support the leadership team in executing authentication strategy across I&V, GRS, and Prod Auth & Lic lines of business, delivering customer OTIF without compromising quality. Act in full compliance with company guidelines, values, and codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- MQF level 3: Diploma or Certificate in Mechatronics
- 1–2 years in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English – Proficiency C1 or higher
- Safety training
- LOTO training
- basic mechanical/electrical training
- Electrical Installation Authorisation A
- use of forklifts
- stackers
- motorised elevating platforms
- Introductory PLC and Lean basics
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, ideally on FMCG producing machines
- Fundamentals of sensors, actuators and circuits
- Awareness of industrial safety standards
- Basic use of hand tools and measurement instruments
- Ability to follow technical instructions
- Entry-level troubleshooting
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- good working knowledge of plc and automation
- Need to be able to handle 25kg loads where necessary and according to HSE best practice
- Ability to identify visual displays on diverse backgrounds
- Working hours and shift schedules to be changed according to the requirements of the business
- Shopfloor Environment
