Job Summary
Perform relay setting, power system, arc flash, and cable ampacity calculations for S&L power projects, including transient, harmonic, and renewable energy studies. Conduct grounding and induction analyses while collaborating with project teams to deliver tailored solutions for substation, transmission, and energy infrastructure. Travel to client offices and project sites for on-site consultation as needed. Requires 10+ years of electrical analysis experience using ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV. Hybrid schedule with potential for travel.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (background in Power/Power Systems)
- sufficient industry experience
- 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis
- Experience performing analysis of power systems using software such as: ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others
- Must be able to travel to client offices and project sites to provide on-site consultation
- Valid work authorization in the U.S.
