Job Summary
Perform relay setting, power system, arc flash, and cable ampacity calculations for substation, transmission, nuclear, and renewable energy projects. Execute transient, harmonic, grounding, and induction analyses using ETAP, SKM, PSCAD, and EMTP-RV software. Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver tailored electrical solutions, with potential travel to offices and sites for on-site consultation. Requires 10+ years of electrical analysis experience, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems), and proficiency in MS Office. No U.S. work authorization sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (background in Power/Power Systems)
- 10+ years of experience performing electrical analysis
- Experience performing analysis of power systems using software such as: ETAP, SKM, PSCAD and EMTP-RV
- Proficiency with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid interpersonal skills and ability to work with and guide others
- Successful completion of the Professional Engineering (PE) exam
Desired Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- Strong working knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.
