Job Summary
As an Electric Power Generation Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot engine and electrical systems, including generators and transfer switches. Key responsibilities include providing on-site customer support, repairing and maintaining power generation systems, and offering guidance to service technicians. A strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is essential, along with experience in power generation components and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with Diesel and Natural Gas Engines
- Electrical Switchgear
- Automatic Transfer Switches
- Balance of Plant Equipment
- Good working knowledge of power generation components
- Microsoft Office Software proficiency
- Ability to read electrical schematics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Desire to perform hands-on work
Desired Qualifications
- EGSA Certification
- Technical Degree or Certification
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a CDL license if required
