Electric Motor Sales Manager in Houston, TX leading customer acquisition and retention, overseeing inside/outside sales and project management, coaching sales team, negotiating pricing and contracts with finance/leadership, maintaining CRM/quoting tools, and driving revenue growth across existing and emerging markets while expanding product lines and services.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in industrial sales, preferably electric motors, motor repair, or related heavy equipment
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience with Visual Manufacturing or similar ERP is a plus
- Provide consistent quote follow-up & hold the sales team accountable to do the same
- Ability to develop strong customer trust, increasing repeat business, and cross-sell opportunities
