Job Summary
Inspect, disassemble, diagnose, repair, assemble, test, and paint industrial electric motors and generators, including three-phase AC induction, synchronous, wound rotor, and DC motors. Utilize precision measuring tools like micrometers to perform repairs while documenting work via Apple devices and reporting on Windows and Excel. Safely operate jib cranes, overhead cranes, forklifts, and pallet jacks, maintaining a clean environment and wearing required PPE. Work independently or collaboratively to meet quality and production expectations, with overtime available to support customer commitments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience repairing industrial electric motors and generators
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience safely operating shop equipment, cranes, forklifts, and material handling equipment
- Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, including micrometers
- Dependable

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Must provide and maintain personal hand tools appropriate for the position
- Ability to work overtime as needed to support customer commitments
