Job Summary
Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test electrical and mechanical equipment including AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes. Utilize diagnostic tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers to ensure accurate measurements and troubleshooting. Conduct failure analysis, document findings, and follow proper procedures for part identification and reassembly while performing in-house and on-site repairs. Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and final quality checks while adhering to OEM, EASA, and customer specifications. Follow all mechanical and electrical safety practices. 1st shift in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial electric motor repair or relevant training (EASA or military experience acceptable)
- Proven experience as an Electric Motor Mechanic and Winder
- Strong skills in diagnostics, repair, and mechanical/electrical safety practices
- Experience with industrial electric motors (automotive motor experience not acceptable)
- Location: Louisville, KY
- Shift: 1st Shift
