Job Summary
Electric Motor Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair electric motors and rotating equipment at customer sites across the Dallas–Fort Worth region. Responsibilities include field diagnostics (vibration analysis, balancing, laser alignment, and electrical testing), ensuring proper tolerances during disassembly and reassembly, accurately documenting work and test results, delivering excellent customer service, mentoring junior technicians, and following safety procedures (LOTO, PPE, OSHA) with on‐call and overnight travel as part of the rotating schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of field service experience with motors or rotating equipment
- Level 2 Vibration Certification preferred
- Proficient with diagnostic tools, test equipment, and computer-based reporting systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work independently and manage time
- Ability to travel overnight and participate in on-call schedule
