Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Four years of full-time related experience as an electrical lineman OR documented training program approved by City’s training program administrator
  • Journeyman Electric Lineman must have satisfactorily completed 8000 hours of textbook training and four years of on-the-job skills training with the City of Georgetown’s Line Technician Training Program
  • Valid Class A Texas driver’s license
  • Certificate of Skills from the City’s Apprentice Line Technician program or accredited approved alternate
