Job Summary
Service and install GPS fleet tracking equipment and peripherals into various fleet vehicles including cars, vans, trucks, semis, and construction equipment while traveling daily to different job sites in a company-provided vehicle. Report details of each service and installation back to the Home Office or directly to customers via telephone calls and web-based portals. Maintain punctuality and attendance while working independently, with schedules compiled and confirmed by an assigned Dispatcher. Experience in automotive audio, video, car alarms, remote starts, navigation, GPS, backup cameras, sensors, and driver safety systems is highly desired. The role offers a day rate of $140 to $180, plus overtime pay, bi-weekly direct deposit, and comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year in 12 volt automotive electronics installations
- Availability- minimum of 5 work days per week; Sunday through Saturday
- Punctuality and attendance
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel- local travel, weekends, evenings, occasional overnight stays
- Fluent oral and written communication skills
- High levels of professionalism and customer service
