Job Summary

Assemble and wire custom automation equipment and production systems from mechanical drawings and assembly instructions. Install and wire electrical panels, motors, sensors, pneumatic devices, and other machine components. Route, terminate, and test electrical wiring to company and industry standards. Install and connect pneumatic and hydraulic components. Support machine startup, debugging, testing, and commissioning activities. Collaborate with engineering to implement design improvements and continuous process enhancements. Maintain accurate production, maintenance, and service documentation. Perform installation, repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of additive manufacturing equipment at customer sites. Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and complete onsite repairs. Manage service inventory and maintain required parts and supplies. Ensure all work is completed safely and meets company quality standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field OR equivalent manufacturing/electro-mechanical experience
  • Experience with electrical wiring, machine assembly, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to travel 30%+

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of robotics, servo systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, or CNC controls preferred
  • Forklift or electrical certifications are a plus
