Job Summary
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material or skills introduced by the teacher; operate and care for classroom equipment; supervise meals, drills, assemblies, and field trips; assist with supervision of daily routines; provide guidance and information to substitute teachers; participate in staff development and meetings; perform other duties as assigned. Requires cooperation with staff, good judgement, time management, and a positive attitude. Prior experience with children in instructional settings preferred. Classroom support role focused on reinforcing instructional material and helping students master equipment and materials under teacher direction.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must have 48 college hours or be considered highly qualified through completion of a state approved program.
