Job Summary
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to control access and deter unauthorized activity at Clark County election facilities. Protect election personnel, voters, equipment, ballots, and property while maintaining strict political neutrality. Respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, and suspicious behavior, then report disturbances to supervisors or law enforcement. Conduct routine patrols, enforce site-specific procedures, and assist with crowd management or emergency evacuations. Maintain accurate daily activity reports and coordinate with election officials and emergency personnel. Perform duties indoors and outdoors, including securing facilities before, during, and after voting operations. Complete a background check prior to interview and demonstrate ability to remain alert and professional in crowded environments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nevada Security Guard Work Card
- Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
