Job Summary
Manage the scope of course design and development projects while identifying marketing industry learning needs and on-demand channel gaps. Collaborate with subject matter experts to refine design processes, create instructional materials with multiple lessons and assessments, and develop storyboards, video scripts, and audio scripts. Build, redesign, and update SCORM compliant courses using Storyline 360, RISE, and AI platforms to generate multimedia solutions and produce edited audio/video content. Perform quality assurance and testing before course release, then coordinate with LMS administrators for publishing and launching on the ANA website. Maintain organized project documentation and provide support for member and registration inquiries. Work 70% of time as a course developer and 30% as an instructional designer in a hybrid role at the ANA headquarters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience designing eLearning instructional design materials with subject matter experts
- Experience developing eLearning courses (including microlearning) in Storyline 360, RISE, and platforms that provide AI-generated content and course videos (e.g., HeyGen)
- Exceptional knowledge and working experience in the application of adult learning theories and instructional design approaches in eLearning courses
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, interpersonal) and collaboration skills
- Ability to write effective copy and instructional text with proven grammar and editing capabilities
- Above average proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially in PowerPoint
- Strong multimedia skills, specifically visual/graphic design skills and audio/video development and editing capabilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent project management and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results-oriented environment
- Full-time corporate eLearning instructional design and development experience
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in instructional design, educational technology, or related field
- Possess a background and/or interest in marketing or related field
