Job Summary
Review daily production schedules, verify product specifications, and set up electrolyte filling equipment to ensure correct labeling and lot numbers. Monitor line performance, complete batch records, and coordinate rework activities while enforcing GMP compliance and safety protocols. Train new employees, manage unused materials accountability, and communicate equipment concerns to Maintenance. Work Monday through Friday from 2 pm to 10:30 pm with availability for overtime. This role supports PL Developments' manufacturing of over-the-counter pharmaceutical and consumer healthcare goods.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food or dietary supplement manufacturing standards, and workplace safety requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately complete batch records and documentation
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced production environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; able to interact professionally with operators, supervisors, Quality, Maintenance, and management
- Strong analytical and basic mathematical skills for documentation, counts, and adjustments
- Ability to think quickly and resolve routine production issues
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to train, coach, and support line personnel
- Willingness and ability to work overtime as business needs require
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
- Ability to stand and/or walk up to 10 hours per shift
- Good hand-eye coordination for handling containers, packaging components, and documentation
- Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing approximately 25–45 pounds in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to consistently wear and maintain required PPE within an electrolyte production setting
- Ability to understand/operate hot fill procedures as this product is bottled at 190 degrees
