Job Summary
Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing integrated with production lines. Perform tasks manually or with light hand tools, carry out regular quality testing within defined production processes, operate under SOPs, and maintain a clean work area. Requires use of PPE and respiratory protection; may involve lifting up to 40 lbs and handling materials that may produce dust or fumes. Role located onsite in Mebane, NC with 2nd shift responsibilities; requires US work authorization.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Handle materials that may produce dust, fumes, or vapors requiring respiratory protection
- Wear and maintain assigned PPE, including respirators and masks
- Participation in fit testing and medical evaluations as required for respirator use
- Candidates must already have a work authorization to work for ABB in the US
