ELDS Manufacturing/Quality Tester- 1st shift

Job Summary
Perform physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validate manufacturing processes. Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) checks, inspect and troubleshoot issues, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions in collaboration with stakeholders. Maintain accurate testing records and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality. Requires 1+ years of electrical experience or related coursework and a high school diploma or equivalent; onsite in Mebane, NC.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of working in an electrical or wiring experience or applicable electrical course work
- Reading and understanding electrical drawings
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Experience with customer relationships
- Experience performing planned maintenance of electrical equipment
- Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, other hand tools, and electrical current & voltage measurement tools as needed
- Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, AC/DC electrical circuits
- Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
- Candidate must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
