Job Summary
Conduct test protocols to ensure parts, products, and systems meet specified requirements for incoming, manufacturing, or final inspection quality. Support quality control activities for supplier, production, and validation testing while assisting in quality-related training. Report quality issues data to ensure adherence to the quality management system and collaborate on improving test protocols for greater efficiency and accuracy. Evaluate quantitative metrics to determine compliance and train operational teams in quality assurance routines.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Skilled in using measurement and inspection tools
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to safely use a ladder and lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards
- Experience with non-conformance documentation
- Understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools
- Experience with ERP or MES systems
- Certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector or Six Sigma Yellow/Green Belt
- Knowledge of continuous improvement tools
