Job Summary
Provide in-home elder care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) for clients across Newport and surrounding areas in Oregon. Responsibilities include household chores, cooking/serving meals, helping with bathing/dressing/grooming, providing companionship, and transporting clients to stores or appointments. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, own a smartphone, pass background checks, maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance, and complete required caregiver training. Training and orientation provided; flexible scheduling with weekly pay and paid travel time. Opportunities for ongoing training and to be matched with clients based on availability and preferences.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 10-50 lbs
- Must own a smartphone with mobile app
- Ability to pass state and national background check
- Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and clean driving record
- Have a reliable vehicle to transport clients
- Ability to complete state-required caregiver/HCA training
- Flexible scheduling and availability every day of the week 8am-9pm
- Willing to transport clients in their own vehicle
