Job Summary
ELA/SS Master Teacher leads implementation of the GEO Prep Academy instructional model with rotational blended learning, provides ongoing training and development, analyzes student and teacher performance data to design targeted interventions, leads weekly data-team meetings, reviews lesson plans, and communicates with staff to foster growth; requires a master’s degree or higher, valid Louisiana Teaching License, at least 5 years of teaching, TAP rubric excellence for TAP schools, strong communication and technology integration skills, and demonstrated service in the community.
Required Qualifications
- A master’s degree or higher in relevant academic discipline
- Valid Louisiana Teaching License in Elementary or Secondary Education
- At least 5 years of successful teaching as measured by performance evaluations
- For teachers in TAP schools, exemplary evaluation scores on TAP Rubrics
- Excellent communication skills and understanding of how to facilitate growth
- Student data that illustrates the teacher’s ability to increase student achievement through utilizing specific instructional interventions
- Strong technical skills, particularly in integrating technology in the classroom to drive academic achievement
- Demonstrated volunteer or community service
