Job Summary
ELA Learning Lab Teacher lead small-group, intervention-based ELA Lab classes for high school students at partner schools in Brooklyn, NY. Responsibilities include strengthening decoding, comprehension, and writing skills; utilizing a pre-designed Lindamood-Bell-based curriculum; ongoing collaboration with students and support staff; participating in training and applying literacy instruction best practices in a focused, nurturing environment. Hours are Mon–Thu 1:05 PM–4:50 PM; salary $50–$60/hour. In-person at partner schools with emphasis on literacy intervention and student growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- 1–2 years of teaching experience
- Experience in reading intervention or ELA instruction (preferred)
- Familiarity with Lindamood-Bell programs or willingness to train
