Job Summary
EL Tutor assists K-12 students learning English as a second language in elementary, middle and high school, helping students complete classwork and assignments. Responsibilities include working with individual students or small groups to carry out ESL lessons focused on English proficiency skills (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), and communicating with the EL Lead Teacher, other EL staff, and families as needed. Preference is given to individuals with previous teaching experience. The role is part-time and temporary on an as-needed basis, located in Roanoke Rapids, NC.
