Job Summary
Shift Leader responsible for overseeing restaurant operations during assigned shifts, leading by example to ensure fast, friendly service while maintaining food safety and cleanliness. Responsibilities include supervising and coaching crew, enforcing standards and procedures, executing opening/closing procedures, managing staff deployment, ensuring adherence to cash handling and POS processes, monitoring labor and product usage, and achieving daily sales and service metrics. Requires strong communication, customer service skills, willingness to lead, and the ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months to 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience
- Prior leadership or shift lead experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic cash handling and POS experience required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
