Job Summary
Shift Leader oversees restaurant operations during assigned shifts, leads team to ensure fast, friendly and accurate service, enforces food safety and cleanliness standards, coaches and develops crew, and supports achieving daily sales and labor goals while complying with company policies and brand standards. Reports to General Manager and collaborates with management to maintain service metrics and safe, efficient operations at El Pollo Loco.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of restaurant or customer service experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic cash handling and POS experience
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work at nearby locations as needed
