Job Summary
EL Pollo Loco Service Assistant tasked with maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and guest-ready dining environment while supporting front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Responsibilities include guest service support, dining room and restaurant maintenance, food safety and sanitation, stocking and operational support, and general cleaning duties. Requires standing and walking, ability to lift objects, and adapting to a fast-paced environment with flexible schedules; emphasizes guest hospitality, cleanliness, sanitation procedures, and compliance with brand standards.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, janitorial, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to work flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic literacy and communication skills
