Job Summary
Service Assistant role supporting both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, organized, and guest-ready dining environment, assisting with dining room cleanliness, guest service support, stocking, sanitation, and food safety in accordance with El Pollo Loco brand standards; duties include greeting guests, addressing guest needs, transporting items as needed, stocking supplies, assisting with shift transitions, and maintaining overall restaurant appearance. Requires strong customer service, ability to follow safety procedures, and availability for mornings/evenings/weekends/holidays in a fast-paced team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Previous restaurant, janitorial, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic literacy and communication skills
- Flexible schedules including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
